In this environment, Roztocze Treasures are created, the quality of which is evidenced by the geographical location itself, which is  a haven of peace and naturalness. The biological diversity of Roztocze and the entire province allows us to provide high-quality products, which we would like to share with you, as if they were real treasures.

Who we are?

Father Mariusz - he started our bee production. Thanks to many years of passion and diligence, we can be proud of the tradition that our sons are starting to take care of - the next generation in our family enterprise.

Son Karol - creator of the online store and the person responsible for conducting sales and marketing to the best of our family business's capabilities.

Son Łukasz - a beekeeping adept in the family business, a continuator of many years of tradition. In addition, a visionary and creator of our brand's graphic identification.

Weronika - our TikTok master and providing you with interesting facts and knowledge straight from our apiary... all in the form of short and interesting videos that you can find on our social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or TikTok.

Our Crew works hard every day to continuously fulfill our mission and provide you with the best honeys, bee products and homemade preserves. Our multi-generational experience in agriculture, cooperation with local producers and trust among long-term customers allow us to jointly create the Skarby Roztocza brand, thanks to which we can build awareness of bee products, disseminate knowledge about them, and support the functioning of domestic beekeeping and domestic pollinators.

Our Products

Our products are not the result of mass production - we are proud of it.

We only offer our own - Polish honeys. We do not import, because we proudly support our local beekeeping. No syrups, sugars or enriching substances are added to the honeys, they are not overheated or pasteurized. We make sure that they retain all their natural health properties. In our opinion, compliance with the above principles is the basis of reliability and respect for the beekeeping tradition.

What's more, you can't buy our products in a supermarket - they are often very limited, because we depend only on bees and Mother Nature.

Our family's long-standing beekeeping tradition dates back to the early 1930s, and the knowledge and experience we have acquired allow us to have such a unique and rich range of honey varieties.

Our History

Our honey history dates back to the 1930s, when our great-grandfather had one of the largest farms in the eastern part of Roztocze – the picturesque Lublin region, where he worked in agriculture and gardening, and around his farm there was a large apple orchard, in which there were wooden hives inhabited by hard-working bees. These insects played a very important role in both fruit growing and agriculture – they pollinated the surrounding fruit trees, bushes and fields in the area, ensuring a bountiful harvest. The apiary was not large, but a dozen or so trunks were enough for the honey needs of the immediate family and the surrounding neighbours.

Unfortunately, his son, our grandfather, was allergic to bee venom… For this reason, he could not continue his father's passion and passed the apiary to the local parish priest. Here, the history of bees temporarily breaks off, only to be reborn in the next generation, where our uncle decides to renew the family traditions and reactivates the apiary and decides to take up education at a beekeeping technical school. The continuous development of the apiary, gaining knowledge and experience, as well as daily contact with these fascinating insects, resulted in a significant increase in the production of honey and bee products, and the introduction of the nomadic policy allowed for the acquisition of more unique types of honey. Along with the increase in production, a problem arose with the distribution of the goods produced, because there was much more honey than the needs of family, friends or neighbors indicated.

Here comes our Dad Mariusz, who, while studying in Krakow, noticed the need of the residents for quality products from the countryside and began a sweet cooperation with his brother-in-law, offering them at the oldest traditional agricultural market in Poland - Stary Kleparz. Helping with the duties of the apiary quickly led to a fascination with the world of bees, which was shared with both members of the immediate family and customers. Honey from the family apiary quickly gained a group of its regular customers, and transport to a larger city allowed for its greater sale. Trust in the family brand and customer satisfaction with the quality of honey purchased straight from the apiary led to offering a wider range of products from the native region. The involvement of our Grandfather and Grandmother allowed for the production of a larger amount of home-made preserves, which became an additional source of income for them for retirement, and for our customers a return to the longed-for tastes from childhood.

The large number of recommendations and the high quality of the products offered created a kind of family brand, which, however, lacked identification in the form of a name, logo and a consistent visual character of the products offered. This is where we appeared - Brothers Łukasz and Karol - the youngest generation, who gave the name to the family enterprise - Skarby Roztocza. A fresh look at the traditional beekeeping industry resulted in the creation of one of the first online stores in Poland with honey straight from the apiary. Working diligently and learning from our own mistakes, we built our image and brand in a completely new space of the emerging online sales market, constantly expanding our knowledge in running an apiary. Regular contact with bees and their observation allowed us to understand that these insects are not guided by instinct, but by reason, and the fascination with them allowed us to love these creatures.

Currently, we continue the multi-generational family traditions, running an apiary, trying to implement numerous innovations and a fresh look at one of the oldest and noblest industries in the world. Many years of experience in production allow us to offer high-quality honeys, natural preserves and healthy bee products. All this to effectively carry out our mission of providing a wide range of quality bee products on a regular basis and to proudly support and create our domestic beekeeping. We know that thanks to this, we are increasingly meeting the needs of our customers, and we also support not only the national economy, but also our national ecosystem, because we provide care for so many bees - important pollinators for all domestic crops and other plants.
