Rapeseed Honey is one of the most popular honeys in Poland. Polish rapeseed honey is one of the earliest honeys produced, bees collect nectar from rapeseed flowers in the spring.
Rapeseed honey is a unique type of honey, because it is actually one of the first to be created in the apiary after the winter break. As the name suggests, this precious elixir is created from nectar and pollen collected from rapeseed flowers. Rapeseed is one of the most important crops in Poland. Rapeseed honey is also called white honey because of its very rapid crystallization and color change to white.
Rapeseed Honey properties:
- Helpful in the treatment of liver, pancreas, kidneys, digestive system, stomach and duodenal ulcers.
- Recommended in the treatment of circulatory system diseases, heart failure, angina and atherosclerosis.
- It lowers blood pressure and compensates for potassium deficiency in the body.
- Also effective for colds and inflammation of the respiratory tract.
- Accelerates the healing of wounds.
- In case of burns, it prevents blistering.
Color: In the liquid state it is almost colorless or slightly straw-colored, after crystallization it has a creamy consistency and a white or gray-cream color.
