Propolis - what exactly is it and how is it produced?
Propolis is the common name for propolis tincture. Propolis is made from bee glue , which you already know very well from our offer, because for many years we have been offering this product as a raw material for creating your own propolis tincture. Bee glue is a mixture of tree resin and secretion from the glands of bees. It is a product containing many nutrients, thanks to which it strengthens our immunity, adds energy and improves well-being. Bee glue in the form of a raw material is an excellent base for preparing health tinctures.
Most often, propolis tincture is created by pouring alcohol over bee glue. This is a traditional way of deriving the health properties of this noble raw material straight from the hive, used for generations and derived from knowledge passed down from generation to generation. We, however, went a step further towards the practicality of using propolis! We used the latest research knowledge and made our tincture using propylene glycol - it is a safe ingredient commonly found in many medicines, dietary supplements, dots or creams (including those for children).
Thanks to this, our propolis drops can be used by minors and drivers, as well as teetotalers.

How to use propolis in drops?
For adults and children over 11 years of age, it is recommended to dissolve 1/2 teaspoon (20-50 drops) of the preparation in a small amount of water or honey (approx. 30-50 ml). Use once a day for 3 to 12 weeks. Take before or during a meal. The frequency and dosage should be adjusted to individual needs and preferences.
For children from 1 to 10 years of age, use half the adult dose, i.e. 1/4 teaspoon (10-25 drops) in a water solution or in honey. We recommend consulting a pediatrician at that time, so that he or she can advise on individual dosage and possible contraindications (especially if the child has any existing health problems, allergies or takes medications on a regular basis).
Allergy test
Propolis is a substance that can cause severe allergic reactions in people who are allergic to bee products, so if you are not sure, it is recommended to do an allergy test.
One drop of the product should be applied to the inside of the forearm, and then monitor the area for the next 24 hours to see if there is any redness or itching. If such symptoms occur, discontinue use of the product, but if no symptoms occur, the product is safe to use.
