    Dandelion Honey, as the name suggests, is harvested from an apiary rich in dandelion flowers in its surroundings. Despite the great popularity and abundant flowering of the dandelion, dandelion honey is very hard to obtain, which makes it a real delicacy. It is also called May honey, because it is in May that the dandelion flowers abundantly, forming picturesque yellow carpets across the meadows.

    Dandelion Honey - properties:

    • Used for problems with the liver, stomach and kidneys, and also in states of lowered immunity.
    • It supports the digestive system.

    Dandelion Honey - how to use it:

    Support for the digestive system – take a teaspoon of dandelion honey dissolved in a glass of lukewarm water or tea before a meal to support digestion and liver function. Remember that the temperature of drinks should not exceed 40°C.

    For strengthening immunity – consuming honey regularly, e.g. in the morning on an empty stomach, may contribute to strengthening the body overall.

    As a healthy sweetener – its sweetness makes it an excellent sugar substitute in drinks, porridge, yoghurts and desserts. Thanks to its spreadable consistency, it also works perfectly as a topping for bread.

    In homemade remedies – try it combined with herbs for kidney or rheumatic complaints, always in moderation and in consultation with a specialist.
