Acacia Honey 1000g

Acacia honey  is obtained during the flowering period of the black locust, or so-called white lime tree, which is an excellent honey-producing material for bees.  Acacia honey is a very unique honey, because it is the only one of many types of honey available in Poland that is dominated by fructose in its composition, which causes its crystallization time to be up to one to one and a half years, even if the ideal storage conditions are maintained. The high fructose content, in addition to causing a long crystallization time, also makes it the only type of honey with a low glycemic index and, as a result, it can even contribute to lowering blood glucose levels.

Acacia honey and its extraction .

Acacia honey is obtained during the flowering period of the black locust, or so-called white lime tree, which is an excellent honey-producing material for bees. Acacia honey  is a valuable source of substances beneficial to the human body. Like any honey, acacia honey also consists mainly of carbohydrates - this is about 80% of its mass. The remaining 20% is water, a small content of protein, as well as ingredients such as vitamins, elements, flavonoids, organic acids, mucus, essential oils.  Acacia honey is rich in fructose, also having a high concentration of sucrose in its composition. That is why it is a product with a strong sweet aftertaste. The different structure of this valuable raw material also extends its crystallization period.
