Goldenrod honey is one of the latest autumn honeys. Goldenrod is also a valuable medicinal plant, known for generations. It should be noted that goldenrod honey is one of the honeys with the strongest antibiotic properties. This distinctive property has earned it many loyal supporters. Goldenrod honey contains flavonoids - mainly rutin and quercetin, which improve blood flow to the veins of the lower limbs and kidneys. The honey also contains essential oils, tannins, organic acids and mucous substances. It also contains bactericidal substances, vitamins and a large amount of microelements.

Honey is made from the nectar of goldenrod - a plant commonly called mimosa, golden rod or golden maiden. Goldenrod is a yellow plant that grows in meadows and forests in southern and eastern Poland. Known for its gentle movement in the autumn wind. This plant is commonly considered a weed by farmers. However, it should be remembered that it is one of the most efficient melliferous plants. It is a very valuable plant for both beekeepers and bees. It blooms at the turn of August and September, until late autumn (sometimes even until the first frosts).
