Rapeseed Honey 

Rapeseed honey is one of the most popular honeys in Poland. Polish rapeseed honey  is one of the earliest honeys produced, bees collect nectar from rapeseed flowers in the spring. Rapeseed honey is also called  white honey  due to its very fast crystallization and color change to white. Sometimes rapeseed honey, as a unique type of honey, begins to crystallize already on the combs in the hive. Thanks to the wide use of rapeseed in the economy, in Poland there are many benefits for bees in the form of rapeseed fields - especially in the Lublin region and Roztocze, where agricultural areas dominate.

The popular landscape in Poland covered with yellow fields usually appears in May and it is then that bees find efficient nectar in rapeseed fields.  Rapeseed honey  is a unique type of honey, because it is actually one of the first to be created in the apiary after the winter break. As the name suggests, this valuable elixir is made from nectar and pollen collected from rapeseed flowers. Rapeseed is one of the most important crops in Poland. Thanks to the wide use of rapeseed in the economy, there are many nectars for bees in Poland in the form of rapeseed fields - especially in the Lublin region and Roztocze, where agricultural areas dominate. However, it is important to set the hives in the fields of friendly farmers and to be aware of whether sprays are used in the surrounding fields, which can harm the bees. This is the only way to obtain quality honey.  Rapeseed honey  is also called white honey due to its very fast crystallization and color change to white.

Rapeseed Honey - What to use? Application of rapeseed honey.

• Primarily recommended for the treatment of circulatory system diseases, heart failure, angina and atherosclerosis.

Rapeseed Honey properties:

Color: In the liquid state it is almost colorless or slightly straw-colored, after crystallization it has  a creamy consistency and a white or gray-cream color.

Taste:  Very sweet.

Fragrance:  Delicate fragrance.

Storage:  Dry and shaded place (temp. 8-18 C)

Flowering time:  May 

Crystallization:  Very fast.
