Dandelion Honey
Dandelion Honey , as the name suggests, is obtained from dandelions. Despite the great popularity of dandelion flowers, dandelion honey is very difficult to obtain. It is also called May honey, because then the dandelion blooms abundantly.
Dandelion honey
Dandelion honey is not as popular as other spring honeys: rapeseed or multi-flower. Despite this, its health properties and taste values mean that it is by no means inferior to better-known bee products. Many honey lovers and honey connoisseurs consider dandelion honey to be the best type of honey. Dandelion honey is also one of the most popular honeys among our customers. Quite fast crystallization and spreadable consistency make it a pleasant honey for everyday use.
It may be interesting to note that dandelion flowers are not cut in the nectar source to maximize their natural dispersal by wind gusts. This makes yellow dandelion meadows ideal as a nectar source for producing dandelion honey.
Dandelion honey - rich in vitamins and minerals
Dandelion honey is distinguished by its very rich composition of vitamins and minerals, which is why it has an indescribable effect on our health. We can find triterpenes, carotenoids and proteins in it, as well as vitamins B2 and C. Dandelion honey also contains many bioelements, including iron, potassium, manganese and phosphorus. The simple sugars contained in it include fructose and glucose, and in addition to them, we can also find choline in its composition, which has a beneficial effect especially on the liver.
